Welcome car lovers to the official web page of the FB-EK Holden Car Club of QLD.
It’s great that these classic cars continue to find so much support. I guess that true style never goes out of fashion.
Our club web page is designed to introduce new comers to our favourite model of Holden and give our club members a chance to show their vehicles to the world.
If you live in Queensland, Northern NSW or the Northern Territory and own a FB or EK Holden, we would highly recommend that you consider joining our club. We also offer an Associate Membership for those that may not wish to own a vehicle but have an interest in the model and want to get involved in the club.
On becoming a member of our Club, you will find that it is an exceptional resource for spare parts and technical information. If you intend to buy an FB or EK, a wise move would be to join our club in advance, that way getting good information on vehicles and possibly even getting early access to vehicles for sale by club members.
Another aspect of our club is its truly social nature. We have a fantastic time going on club runs every month. These runs vary from ½ day trips around Brisbane, to camping weekends away, all the way to attending the National FB EK Titles wherever they may be held in Australia. Add to this the hilarious monthly club meeting held at the Broadway Hotel, Logan Rd, Woolloongabba, on the first Wednesday of every month at 7.30pm ( except January's ).
Our members vary the very young (teenagers) to the very senior (old bastards!). Cars vary from the rusty, to the showstoppers, from the one-owner originals to the highly modified. Some members choose to be extremely active in their contribution to the club, others choose to have a little less involvement. All this variety allows us to offer something for all FB or EK owners regardless of their age, car, or available time.
